When talking about your soul mate, first, before seeking your mate, your soul must be pure and available. You must first be whole within yourself so that you will not be distracted by those who are not capable of being whole with you.

When whole, your soul will only attract someone else that is whole. You know that they are whole because they are drawn to you, not through the sensuality of love, but through the spirituality of your soul. The first step is to become one with the other person spiritually. If it’s just intellectual, that will not do. If it’s just physical, that will not do. You know when you’ve found your soul mate because of the wholeness you feel in their presence or when thinking about them. The other person must also react exactly the same way. There’s no doubt, no question. You think of no other. There is no possibility of anyone else. Only that person can make you whole and therefore complete you. The acid test is simply this: You know in your heart that only this one completes you. You know this because they have the same experience as well. You know when the two people become one person. There is no doubt whatsoever. This is life’s greatest quest and mystery. Unfortunately, most are not capable of being whole within themselves to be available to their true soul mate. You must first, therefore, be whole within your soul. Then you can be available to your soul mate.
